7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:30 pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge

Introduction of Officers: Stephen Gustkey- Pistol, John Hiser-Treasurer, Mike Cumberland-President, Brian Jesteadt- Membership, Mike Ripley- Jr. Rifle/Black Powder, Tom Horstman- Trap

Treasurer’s Report: John read treasurer’s report.

Bills and Communications: $48 was paid for hall cleaning. $788.73 was paid for trap building materials. $18.66 was paid for membership cards.

Pop: Steve turned in $5.

Rental Committee Report: Nothing to report for this month, yet.

Pistol Team: Pistol team took in $112 and kept $33. Steve turned $79. The pistol team shoots on Thursdays from 5 PM till dark. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Nothing to turn in this month. Winter trap league has started. Still accepting people to shoot. Contact Tom with any questions. Practice can still be shot on Sundays during the winter league from 1-5pm for $3.50 per 25 targets. Open to general public, club members, and new shooters.

Black Powder: Took in $140, $100 in expenses, kept $12, Mike turned in $28. 2nd Sunday of each month is still a meat shoot.

Junior Rifle Team: Nothing to turn in this month. Juniors welcome to come shoot on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday’s of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Archery: Still looking for any members willing to join together to make a team to practice.

Fun Indoor Shoot: Dickie turned in $80. Dickie said it is 10 rounds for $10. They will be shooting every Monday @ 1 pm. Everyone is welcome. Open sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and collected $1890 of which $275 to maintenance fund and $1615 to the general fund. He reported 132 new members for 2017 which brings a total of 461 Sr, Life and Charter members. Total membership is 625.

Old Business: Trap now has electric heat and OSB board installed inside.

New Business: It was decided that the person cleaning the hall was due for a raise. So the wage was moved up to $15/hr. Chris Grooms was awarded a 1-year membership due to his current active duty status in the army. Steve Gustkey mentioned that he will be adding another coat of finish to the hall floor in the future. Mike Ripley expressed his concern of rifle range open during active hunting season.

NOTE: Election of officers was voted on. No changes in officers for this upcoming year.
